Hi, I'm Tyler Thompson

Full-stack developer building clean, responsive, secure, and accessible web applications. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB).

About Me

I build web applications that are easy to use and hold up in the real world—from customer-facing sites to secure sign-in and data-backed features. I like taking complex requirements and turning them into straightforward experiences.

Recent work includes a live e-commerce marketing site for a lighting business, a photo community demo, and a from-scratch notes app focused on security fundamentals and accessibility. My CSUMB degree gave me a strong foundation in software engineering; these projects show how I apply that in production-ready builds.

    Dragonflys & Co

A marketing website for a fine Italian lighting business. Visitors browse collections, view products, and request quotes. I built the public site and a private admin area for managing quotes—the site is live and used by the business every day.

    PhotoSharify

A demo photography community where people explore a slideshow and photo grid, then open individual photo pages. The live version focuses on browsing and layout; uploading is turned off on purpose. I built it to practice clean design and loading content from a database.

    Frameworkless Notes App

A notes app where users sign up, log in, and keep private notes. It runs without a major web framework so I could work closer to how the web actually handles forms, sessions, and security. Includes encrypted passwords and protections against common sign-in attacks.
